Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich Highlights

Arsenal and Bayern Munich Draw 2-2 in Thrilling Champions League Clash

Saka and Trossard Salvage Point for Gunners in High-Scoring Affair

Bayern Munich Dominate Early, Saka Responds

In an engrossing UEFA Champions League quarterfinal first leg on Tuesday, Arsenal fought back from a goal down twice to earn a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich at the Emirates Stadium. Bayern started the match strongly and took the lead in the 15th minute through Jamal Musiala. The German midfielder received a pass inside the box and unleashed a low drive into the bottom corner. Arsenal, however, showed their resilience and equalized just seven minutes later. Bukayo Saka, the Gunners' talisman, was brought down in the area by Alphonso Davies, handing Arsenal a penalty. Saka stepped up and confidently dispatched the spot-kick to make it 1-1. Bayern continued to push forward, but Arsenal held firm and looked dangerous on the counterattack. In the 38th minute, Eddie Nketiah had a glorious chance to put Arsenal ahead, but he fired wide from close range.

Trossard's Late Intervention

With the match seemingly heading towards a draw, Bayern once again took the lead in the second half. Thomas Müller received a cross from the right and headed the ball past Aaron Ramsdale in the 53rd minute. Arsenal refused to be beaten, and with just 10 minutes remaining, substitute Leandro Trossard popped up with a crucial goal. The Belgian winger received a low cross from Kieran Tierney and fired the ball into the roof of the net to equalize once more.

The match ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw, leaving the tie wide open ahead of the second leg in Munich on April 16th. Arsenal will need to score an away goal to have a chance of reaching the semifinals, while Bayern will be looking to build on their strong performance at the Emirates.
